The Moravian-Silesian Film Office cordially invites all cinema lovers to the 18th annual KRRR! Festival, a unique Central European showcase of 70mm films, which will take place from April 4 to 6, 2025 at the Mír 70 cinema in Krnov.
The KRRR! Festival was founded in 2006 and has since become a significant event for film enthusiasts not only from the Czech Republic but also from abroad. Its main mission is to revive the largest format used in the history of film – 70mm film – and offer viewers the opportunity to watch classic films in their full breadth and quality. The festival program traditionally includes a selection of feature-length 70mm films, several fragments of these films, and expert lectures focused on 70mm projection technology and archiving film copies.
The holding of the KRRR! Festival in the Moravian-Silesian Region, specifically in Krnov, is of great importance for the region. It contributes to the promotion of the region's cultural heritage and strengthens its position on the cultural map of Europe. In addition, it attracts visitors from different corners of the country, which supports the local economy and tourism.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to experience film classics in their original format and the atmosphere of the historic Mír 70 cinema. For more information about the program and accreditations, visit the official festival website.
We believe that the KRRR! festival will win your heart. 🎬
