Several scenes for the Danish crime series DNA were shot in Ostrava between Monday March 18th and Wednesday March 20th. The locations the Danes chose included the Sýkora bridge, the streets of Vítkovice and Mariánské Hory, the church and cemetery in Radvanice, the athletic oval in Poruba, as well as locations around the Třebovice power plant.
